Picking a Diamonds, Not an Easy Task To Do, Believe Me

Diamonds are graded certification by laboratories using classification criteria. Four of these criteria are essential for understanding a time of the purchase of diamonds or investment. Known as the “Four C” of these criteria: color, cut, clarity and carat. The color is the result of the composition of a diamond and it does not change. When a jeweler describes the color of a diamond, they refer to the presence or absence of color white diamonds. Because a diamond without color provides maximum light to pass through, colorless diamonds are preferred for their brilliance.
Cut refers to a reflection of quality diamonds. Most diamonds are cut with 58 facets. The brilliance of diamonds is heavily dependent on the cut. The different angles and the arrival of a diamond to determine its ability to reflect light and cause its brilliance and fire. Remember that the reduction of a diamond can have an impact on its durability and its beauty. Some defects can cut a diamond prone to rupture. A diamond that is cut too thin can also cause a leak light on the back and the diamond will lose some of the shine and do not seem to shine. So as you can see the CUT is probably the most important of the four C.
During the training process, internal defects, or inclusions occur in most diamonds. The number and size of these inclusions to determine what is called the clarity of a diamond. The diamonds that are clear create more brilliance and, therefore, are more rare and very expensive. To be considered as “flawless”, a diamond does not have surface or internal imperfections visible after being consulted by a skilled diamond grader using 10 power magnification. Carat is the unit weight of diamonds which are measured. A carat is equal to 200 milligrams. A carat is divided into 100 segments called points. 150 points equal one and a half carats.
